Itinerary

Upon your arrival at Bagdogra Airport, you will be warmly greeted by our representative. After a short briefing, begin your picturesque drive towards Phuentsholing, the gateway to Bhutan. The journey takes approximately 4–5 hours, passing through lush tea gardens, forested hills, and small settlements.
Upon reaching Phuentsholing, complete the immigration formalities required for your Bhutan entry. Check-in at your hotel and enjoy some leisure time exploring the vibrant town, which beautifully blends Bhutanese and Indian cultures.

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive from Phuentsholing to Thimphu, Bhutan’s charming capital city. The drive (around 5–6 hours) offers breathtaking views of mountains, waterfalls, and countryside villages.
En route, visit important landmarks such as:

Kharbandi Gompa — a beautiful monastery overlooking Phuentsholing and the plains of India.

The hike is moderately challenging, taking about 5 hours round-trip. Perched dramatically on a cliff at 3,120 meters (10,240 ft), the monastery offers breathtaking views of the Paro Valley below.

After the hike, return to Paro town. In the evening, you can explore:

Kyichu Lhakhang – One of Bhutan’s oldest and most sacred temples.

You will be picked up from Bagdogra Airport and driven to Phuentsholing, the border town of Bhutan. After immigration formalities, you will continue your journey towards Thimphu and Paro.

Indian citizens do not require a visa to enter Bhutan. However, a permit is mandatory, which can be obtained at the Phuentsholing immigration office upon arrival.

The drive from Bagdogra to Phuentsholing usually takes around 4 to 5 hours, depending on road and traffic conditions.

The Tiger’s Nest Hike is moderately challenging, with a steep ascent. It typically takes 4 to 5 hours round-trip. Horses are available for rent up to the halfway point if needed.

The best seasons are spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) when the weather is clear, and the landscapes are lush and vibrant.
